Firstly, sorry for not updating any posts yesterday, but was deat beat after being at school for 8 hours, just fell onto my bunk and slept till the night.
Okay, lets get back to the topic. Recently, i was experiencing incompatible file formats watching movies. Dam, took a lot of time to download it, have to delete it in the end due to file format not supported. Last time when this happened, i felt inclined to hurl the mouse towards my monitor, which i didn't do so. Thus, i decided to find a file converter, that would solve my problems. After inquiring at several forums, i was suggested to try out the MediaCoder, which most people are using. Thanks heaven, i tried it out and it worked for me. Phew. Thus, decided to share it with my readers here.
Well, basically, the MediaCoder is a program which helps you to convert your files into the formats you want, such as mp4 to 3gp, avi to wmp bla bla. It's free, which fits the tickets for guys who don't want to spend a few bucks for something such as me. Here are some of its features, which i directly copied from its site.
Features In Brief
- Converting to between most popular audio and video formats in batch
- Multi-threading design, optimized for multi-core processors (average CPU utilization on quad-core processors over 90%)
- Full control over transcoding parameters
- Simplified UI for popular mobile devices (e.g. PSP, iPhone/iPod)
- Fully standalone, no dependancy on system codecs/splitters
- Media Transcoding Platform to expand UI and improve user experience

And here's a guide for people who want to convert youtube files.
1. Load the youtube file in Internet Explorer, of any browser you're using..
2. After it finishes loading, go to Temporary Internet Files.
Tools>Internet Options>Browsing History>Settings>View Files
( for Internet Explorer, don't know how for the rest. )
3. Switch to "Details View" and sort the files according to their sizes.
4. It should be around the top, copy and paste the file to your desktop.
5. Convert the file via MediaCoder, there's also an option to enable/disable video, format etc
